By the way, according to the information given by Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul will be out of today’s match against CSK only, but BCCI source has told PTI that KL Rahul can hardly take part in this season.

The source has said, ‘KL Rahul is currently in Lucknow with his team. But he will leave the LSG camp on Thursday after watching the match against Chennai on Wednesday. His injury will be scanned at the BCCI medical facility in Mumbai. When someone gets this type of injury, there is a lot of pain and swelling. It takes about 24 to 48 hours for the swelling to end. Only after this the scan can be done.

According to the source, ‘Since he is an important player of the Indian Test team, it would be better if he does not participate in the IPL further. After the scan, when the seriousness of the injury is known, then the medical team of BCCI will decide what can happen next.

KL Rahul was unable to even stand properly
KL Rahul was injured in the match played on Monday (May 1) night. He was badly injured in the very second over of this match against RCB. On the last ball of this over of Marcus Stoinis, Duplessis hit a sharp shot, which was dived by KL Rahul to prevent it from going to the boundary and during this he got a thigh strain.
